We’ve got a lot happening at Whale Creek. In the back bay the flounder bite is heating up, there’s been a couple keepers and lots of throw backs.
Striper in the back bays have all but stopped, with warm water temperature now, that might be it for the summer.
In the surf there’s a ton of kingfish.
Some Flounder around the jetties using buck tails and squid.
Crabbing in the back bay is really good with rental boats pulling in 2-5 dozen keeper blue claw per boat. We have nets available for rent!
Off shore, the OC reefs are starting to hold fish. 2 keepers pulled in earlier this week by Luke Chickadel, 4 years old.
This week’s fresh bait: spot, blood, minnows and every frozen bait you could want.
