The fishing was excellent this weekend! Tons of nice size flounder and good size blues were caught in the back bay this weekend. The stars of the show were the big weakfish that were caught:
- a 10lber caught by angler Tony Keeney from Strathmere, who also had a number of big flatties up to 26″
- Wayne Grear and his son Sam from Cherry Hill who together had 10 keepers up to 5.5 lb and a 6lb weakie!! They are long time Franks renters who seemed to have transitioned well to Whale Creek.
Bucktail Willy (Bill Schillingford) had a grand slam by catching two weakies 22″and 24″, 6 blues up to 18″ , 4 flounder up to 24″ and a 18″ bass. All were tagged and released.
The big flounder of the weekend was Frank Jankowski, of Franks, with a 7.25 lb
